Description
The Vango Twin Drive-Away Kit makes connecting and driving away from your Awning simple with a dual 6mm & 4mm beading on the vehicle edge to fit almost all awning rails and windouts on the market.
This 3 metre kit contains 4 x 75cm figure of 8 sections and a full 3 metre length of Twin kador strip all which store in the included carry bag. The industry standard figure of 8 sections will connect to all major brands of Drive-Away awnings including Vango, Kampa, Outdoor Revolution and Outwell.
A drive-away kit enables one person to detach/reconnect a van from/to a drive-away awning in just a couple of minutes.
How To Connect to your Campervan
- Slide your kador strip into your awning rail or windout awning channel.
- Slide the Figure of 8 sections onto the drive-away awning beading on the tunnel and the other side onto the kador strip.
How To Detach from your Campervan
- Loosen off front webbing straps/guylines of the awning to reduce tension.
- Slide out the kador strip and figure of 8 to disconnect for the vehicle.
- Peg any straps/guylines on the awning to maintain stability.
- Roll away and secure the awning tunnel for neat finish.
Top Connection Tips
- Once you are confident setting up you can cut the kador strip and 1 x figure of 8 down to the optimal size for your awning connection tunnel.
- Use a Debus Awning Rail Stopper to prevent the kador strip moving around in the rail when attaching.
- Use a Debus Campervan Drive-Away Parking Marker so you know exactly where to re-position you van when reconnecting.
