Description
This is the extension handle kit that fits Thetford valves 08707 and 08079.
It is attached by sliding the hollow shaft over the end of the valve stem on the valve. The valve stem and the handle have cross bores in them that align so that the cotter pin can be inserted to secure the extension handle.
This handle does not work on any valves other than Thetford 8707 and 8709. It cannot be used on other Thetford valves and does not work on Valterra valves. Valterra has a different system for securing its own extension handle (which we sell also). The Valterra extension has an internal thread that mates with the thread on the stem of Valterra valves.
